• Consulting

I am available on a limited basis, and within the terms of my employment at the University of Denver, for speaking engagements, teaching, editorial assignments, career mentoring and library-related consultations.

    LIS Teaching/Guest Speaking

I am currently adjunct faculty at the University of Denver’s Morgridge College of Education in their LIS program, and I’ve taught multiple sections of LIS 4321 Collection Management and LIS 4040 Management of Information Organizations, and I’m planning to add LIS 4702 Academic Libraries in early 2027. I’m open to taking on classes and guest speaking opportunites with other organizations, as I have capacity. I’d love to meet your students!

    Career Mentoring

I enjoy helping library professionals on their career paths, whether they’re striking out immediately post-MLIS or just deciding what might be next. Reach out if you’d like some help with job hunting, from finding a job/position to cover letter and writing.

“Thanks so much. I really feel that your input and mentoring is what got me this opportunity.” -successful job seeker

    Editorial Services

I am currently the co-editor in chief for the open access journal Collaborative Librarianship, and I have extensive experience as a professional editor. See my CV for details [PDF].
